It’s important that you let us know if you’re concerned in any way about a mental impairment that might impact how you manage your finances.
Whilst we want everyone to have as much access to their banking as possible, there may be times when you need a little more support. It could be as simple as having a family member or friend come with you when you visit the branch. If so, please tell a member of staff. There are no forms to fill in – you just have to let us know you’re happy for them to accompany you.
You can also empower someone to act on your behalf with your banking, for example by a Power of Attorney or Third Party Mandate. There’s more information about setting up a Power of Attorney.
